Clothilde Humbert advises on compliance and internal investigations, with a focus on international sanctions, export controls and the prevention of business-related offences. She also handles matters in general criminal law and white-collar crime.
Before co-founding Humbert | Stasse, Clothilde Humbert spent ten years at a leading US law firm within its Compliance and Internal Investigations team. This experience enabled her to support major international groups in the implementation of their compliance programmes and the conduct of sensitive investigations. She also worked as legal counsel within the Compliance and Corporate Social Responsibility department of a multinational energy company. In addition, she completed several secondments with international companies, including in the aerospace and energy sectors.
Elected Secretary of the Paris Bar Conference in 2022 and registered on the Paris Bar’s general criminal duty roster, Clothilde Humbert has also worked with her former firm’s white-collar crime team on matters relating to the defence of executives and public figures. She has developed a strong practice in criminal defense, which she now applies to complex matters.
