General criminal law

The firm provides the same level of rigorous representation to individuals facing general criminal law offences, whether as victims or defendants. Its involvement begins at the earliest stages of proceedings, from the investigative phase through to appearances before criminal courts. Each matter is handled on a tailored basis, guided by clarity, precision and effectiveness.

Clothilde Humbert and Pierre Stasse, former Secretaries of the Paris Bar Conference (in 2022 and 2019 respectively), and members of the Paris Bar’s general criminal duty roster, have extensive experience in both criminal and correctional proceedings and are personally committed to the defence of their clients. They are deeply committed to their clients’ defence, combining rigour with determination.

Humbert | Stasse advises and represents its clients at every stage of criminal proceedings, including police custody, first appearances before the prosecutor, hearings before criminal courts (Tribunal correctionnel, Cour d’assises, Cour criminelle départementale), as well as before appellate courts (Cour d’appel, Cour d’assises d’appel).
